Write to help@joinshare.app. A person reads every message.

Please do not send account numbers, passwords or sign-in codes. We will never ask for them, and we do not need them to help you.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account, and everything Share holds about you, from inside the app. It takes a couple of taps and needs no email to us.

1. Open Share and tap the settings gear at the top right of any tab.
2. Scroll to Delete your account and tap Delete my account.
3. Read what will happen, then tap Delete everything.

This is what happens, in this order:

1. Every bank connection is removed at Plaid, which ends Share's access to your bank.
2. Your accounts, balances, holdings, debts and transactions are deleted.
3. Your plans, and every result computed from them, are deleted.
4. Your sign-in account is deleted, and the app signs you out.

It cannot be undone. Our database backups are overwritten every seven days, so deleted data can remain in a backup for up to seven days and no longer. The privacy policy has the full detail.

If you can no longer sign in, write to help@joinshare.app from the email address on your account and we will delete it for you.

Your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by Share, so deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Share. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you reinstall Share or move to a new iPhone, use Restore purchases in the app's settings.

Leaving the waitlist

Write to help@joinshare.app from the address you signed up with, and we will remove it.
